Senators Johnson, Grassley Lead Letter to DOJ and FBI Demanding Documents Detailing the Biden Administration’s Targeting of Sitting Members of Congress
Senators Ron Johnson & Chuck Grassley & 16 others - October 10, 2025
[On October 9th], Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), Senate Committee on the Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), and 16 bicameral colleagues wrote to Attorney General Pam Bondi and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel requesting information about the Biden administration’s collection of call logs from sitting Members of Congress (MOCs).
This request follows an Oct. 6, 2025 briefing where FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino informed several senators that over the course of Jack Smith’s elector case against President Trump – known as Arctic Frost – the FBI collected and analyzed call logs from at least nine MOCs for the period of Jan. 4, 2021 – Jan. 7, 2021. The image below shows part of the document that Deputy Director Bongino provided the senators during the briefing listing the elected officials that Jack Smith targeted.
“The Biden administration’s blatant weaponization of the federal government should shock every American,” the Members wrote. . . .
Kelda Roys’ Ticket Resale Bill Is A Bad Idea
Rolf Lindgren - October 13, 2025
Democratic Governor candidate and Wisconsin State Senator Kelda Roys is floating a ticket resale bill that bans resale more than 10% above the face value of the ticket.
Although Kelda is a very intelligent, well-intentioned person, this bill is a bad idea. Since most tickets aren't worth much above their face value, this proposed bill would mostly only affect high-value tickets like Packer games, Brewers playoff games, Bucks playoff games, and some Badger football or basketball games. And maybe a few rock concerts. So how would the bill proposal affect these events? These high demand tickets are worth double or triple the face value, or more. So the bill would rob value from the owners of these tickets and violates the principle of the free market. It would put honest ticket brokers out of business. It would create a black market for those who shirk the new law. And it would create a brand new government "ticket police" to stop the outlaw ticket buyers and sellers. |
