Victimhood Is Not Liberation

David Blaska, Blaska Policy Werkes - January 18, 2026

Guilty white progressives teach blame, not phonics.

Monday, January 19, we honor America’s historic struggle for civil rights and human dignity. We do so in the name of Martin Luther King Jr. Blaska admires the guy for his courage as much as for his noble cause. (Great wordsmith, too!) History records many allies — some white, like Wisconsin’s own Col. Hans Christian Heg, the Civil War abolitionist. But all the BLM mob knew or cared was that he was a white male, likely cis-gendered.

The civil rights movement, as the Rev. King knew it, has been decapitated like Heg’s statue. Scam artists like Al Sharpton and Robin DiAngelo hijacked the righteous cause to milk their guilty white marks for Benjamins and ratings. Because the actual toxin is almost extirpated, the supposed racism whitey suffers, they hold, is unconscious — the legacy of 1619, found in the unlikeliest places, even a 42-ton glacial boulder!

Behavior, not race? Someone tell the UniParty Capital Times that Bull Connors isn’t our sheriff. The voice of progressivism could not report the arrest of two influential and prosperous black women without sounding the klaxon of racism. Forty (40) percent of people booked on disorderly conduct in the county jail are black, the progressive outlet scolded, disproportionate to their population. The scurrilous implication being that Madison police are racist. In a metro area with a disproportionate (we can use that word, too!) number of minority-race police, district attorneys, alders, supervisors, legislators, and school superintendents? After 60 years of civil rights legislation, affirmative action (voluntary or not), and countless sensitivity seminars?

Being An Informed Voter Is Key to Mid-Term Elections

Dave Glomp - January 19, 2026

Much is being said about the Mid-Term Elections in November 2026. Candidates in both Republican and Democratic parties will try to convince voters in their districts what they believe are the key issues voters are concerned about. The truth is it is the voters that should set the agenda, not those running for office. The Mid-Terms will determine whether we stay the course set by our Commander-in Chief in the overwhelming 2024 election or go back to what was cast out by a majority of voters.

It is imperative that every 2024 voter and more elect or re-elect U.S. Representatives or U.S. Senators who support the current Administration. It will allow us to see fulfilled what the President already has achieved and let him finish the job of returning our country to greatness.

The Law…
