Tiffany Targets Evers’ “400-Year Veto” as Property Tax Bills Spike Across Wisconsin

Wisconsin GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Tom Tiffany said in a press conference that the annual increase of taxes is something families “fear,” urging voters to “end the 400-year property tax hike” and “bring affordability back to Wisconsin.”

The 400-year tax increase is for school-focused growth and refers to Gov. Tony Evers’ controversial partial veto in the 2023–25 budget. The move that politicians have dubbed the “400-year veto,” because it extended a temporary $325 per-student revenue-limit increase out to the year 2425. In April 2025, the Wisconsin Supreme Court upheld Evers’ use of the partial veto to extend the school funding increase through 2425.

At $15 Million, Reid Hoffman is Wisconsin Democrat Party’s Top Donor; Name Appears 2,600 Times in Epstein Files

The Democratic Party of Wisconsin has accepted more than $15 million since 2019 from a billionaire, Reid Hoffman, who is ensnared in the Jeffrey Epstein document dump controversy, including an admitted visit to Epstein’s infamous island.

“Reid Hoffman is the Democrat Party of Wisconsin’s top donor, and it isn’t even close. He’s up to his eyeballs in the Epstein files.”

Reid Garrett Hoffman is the party’s top donor.

A search of his name in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Epstein files database returned 2,668 results. Hoffman, a billionaire who co-founded LinkedIn, sent the Democratic Party of Wisconsin another $100,000 on December 24, 2025, as the Epstein email release scandal was brewing. Two days later, he funneled another $175,000 to the Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee, state records show, at a time when Democrats are trying to flip the state Legislature.
